Whistler Summer Concert Series returns this year with a fun, diverse lineup of talent. There’s something for everyone at this music-driven event set in Olympic Plaza, a stunning outdoor venue in the heart of Whistler Village, complete with a scenic mountain backdrop.

The series kicks off on Canada Day (Tuesday, July 1), and from there concerts will take place weekly on Thursdays and Fridays. After the concert on July 25, there will be a pause until August 21 (the break will allow the Crankworx mountain biking event to take place). Live DJ sets happen before every show at 6:30 pm, and headlining acts start at 7:30 pm.

Here’s the full lineup of top-tier talent:

July 1, Bahamas: The five-time JUNO Award winner is a masterful songwriter with an uncanny ability to weave humour, heartache, and melody.

July 3, Moontricks: This electro-folk duo performs with a technicolour-campfire quality inspired by the natural world.

July 4, Wild Rivers: This indie trio has a gift for introspective lyrics and genre-fluid melodies.

July 10, Mo’Kalamity: The reggae singer-songwriter embodies a crossroads of cultures with Caribbean and Afro-American rhythms.

July 11, 54•40: Over the course of four decades, the iconic Canadian band has made a mark on the cultural landscape.

These free outdoor programs are funded by the Resort Municipality of Whistler and the Province of British Columbia.

July 17, Chali 2na and the House of Vibe: With an unmistakable baritone voice, this artist is one of hip-hop's most celebrated and charismatic personalities.

July 18, Chantal Kreviazuk: The triple JUNO Award and Grammy–winning singer-songwriter is also a classically trained pianist, actress, movie producer, and humanitarian.

July 24, Paco Versailles: This “Dancemenco” duo consists of songwriter Ryan Merchant and Vahagni Aryan, a Spanish-trained flamenco guitarist.

July 25, Owen Riegling: Raised in Mildmay, Ontario, this two-time Canadian Country Music Association Award–winner is so down to earth his boots are always dirty.

August 21, PINEO & LOEB and Special Guests: This dynamic and genre-blurring Halifax DJ duo blends dance, hip-hop, and rock influences.

August 22, Sam Roberts Band: With over 125 million streams to date on hits like “Brother Down”, this chart-topping rock act is a perennial favourite.

August 28, Drag in the Mountains: The family-friendly event features performances by the stars of Canada’s Drag Race.

August 29, Hollow Coves: This duo is known for their indie-folk anthems that embody gratitude for the great outdoors.

Pack a picnic blanket and grab some takeout from a nearby eatery, or dine out in Whistler Village before or after the show—the pedestrian-only area comes alive during the summer with buzzing patios and a vibrant atmosphere. Throughout July, enjoy al fresco Summer Movies at Olympic Plaza; titles include Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Wayne’s World, and Grease.

There are some great seasonal deals in store. Book three or more nights to save up to 20 percent on lodging this summer.

Extra vacation days mean there’s more time to indulge in outdoor activities galore. Explore a variety of scenic hiking trails or unwind by one of five beautiful lakes; and for the adventurers, give bungee jumping, ziplining, or mountain biking a whirl.
